This site will provide a resource to learn about periodontal disease, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, and the dental practice of Dr Scott Hall in Tulsa, OK. It is important for you to be a well-informed dental consumer. The specialty of periodontics, like all of dentistry, is changing to meet the desires of the patients. As restorative dentistry offers improved esthetic options for teeth, periodontics offers an ever-improving array of cosmetic procedures to support the efforts of the restorative dentist. The advances in regeneration of lost hard and soft tissues in periodontics have led to a trend of reduction in resective surgery and an increase in regenerative therapy. Today, the most rapidly growing area in periodontal practice is the placement of dental implants and regeneration of lost soft and hard tissues for future implant placement.

Some procedures are covered by dental insurance. Before Dr. Hall begins treatment, he will provide you with an estimate of the cost of treatment. We will complete your insurance paperwork and make the process as easy as possible for you. A call to your insurance company or reference to your benefits book will help you to determine in advance what portion of a fee will be covered by your insurance plan. The insurance company may also have online information. Unlike medical insurance, dental insurance has very low yearly limits on benefits. Most plans have a yearly maximum of $1000-$1500. Insurance will not pay for procedures that are performed for cosmetic reasons. We offer payment plans through CareCredit for procedures not included in insurance benefits, or for balances remaining after insurance payments.
